Job Description

The Director of Operations – DAS and Wireless Installations leads a multi-disciplined ISP workforce to complete the construction of complex DAS/Wireless network deployment projects.  This requires a broad knowledge of ISP installation and DAS construction, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning practices and standards. Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills are also a must for this position.  We are seeking an experienced leader with demonstrated experience with wireless and DAS technology including various OEM’s, router and switch installations, and current wireless initiatives.  

The responsibilities for this position also include, participation in staffing, the maintenance of ongoing contact with prospective and current clients, participation in business development activities, budget and financial creation and tracking of various LOB related KPI’s.  Ability to manage projects independently, prioritize work assignments, be responsive, and multi-task are a must for the successful candidate in this fast-paced environment.


  • Motivate, mentor, and provide direction to management team

  • Coordinate and execute bid opportunities; project start up and close out

  • Control construction projects, track costs and improve processes

  • Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner

  • Resolve issues affecting projects scope, quality, risk, and timeline

  • Create and manage contingency plans for the projects

  • Prepare pro forma models and RFP responses

  • Ensures compliance with all applicable safety requirements

Job Requirements


  • AS Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience

  • Five or more years of progressive leadership experience, including management of DAS and wireless carrier installations

  • Demonstrated ability to think pro-actively and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and customer focus approach

  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills

  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed deadline expectations

  • Must be able to manage multiple construction schedules

  • Must be able to understand and read construction documents

  • 5 years of engineering telecom experience.

  • Experience directly managing diverse teams
