Job Description

Sales and Marketing Associate

We are seeking a sales and marketing professional to manage activities in support of our growing telecommunications business.  You will assist in the coordination and tracking of new business opportunities and request for proposals.  You will also be responsible for assisting the VP of Sales and marketing in the collection and reporting of  sales and marketing activities on a monthly and quarterly basis, overseeing other aspects of marketing such as web sites content, and the submittal of information as requested for on-going business development requests.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, hardworking professional with excellent communication skills to successfully perform marketing activities.


  • Assist VP of Sales with Sales & Business Development section of monthly & quarterly Board decks

  • Support the organization for RFP submittals – including administrative support and tracking key deliverables due for the RFP, including the correct content and tracking of due dates

  • Maintenance of Company’s Business Development tracker –  updating timely and coordinating with key stakeholders around the analysis regarding licensing, contract review and pro-forma’s.   

  • Sales & marketing material management – develop and update Company sales materials  and collateral for consistency and company developments for the total Company and by segment.

  • Help organize & present strategic Business Development data points for various customer segments and coordinate action plans for execution.

  • Oversee website content and changes working with third party vendors for any structural changes

  • Trade show coordination – assist  VP of sales to assess tradeshow calendars and attendance and registration

Job Requirements

  • BS in Marketing

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Marketing 

  • Solid understanding of marketing best practices

  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral) with excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere

  • Excellent understanding of web design, usability and user centered content development

  • Prior experience with RFP process a plus.

  • Highly organized person to interact with several divisions & stakeholders, tight deadlines, changing priorities.

  • Power point “Guru”  -  proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word , Excel, PowerPoint Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, CRM, and CMS experience

  • Strong work ethic and sense of ownership/accountability
